Did anyone write BAM BAM on a $1 bill? - September 21, 2009, 06:13 PM

Did anyone write Greg "Bam Bam" Walker on any $1 bills over the last week or so and spend them between the DC and VA Beach area? I know that sometimes people write the names of close friends that pass away on $1 bills in the hopes that they will resurface over time reminding them of their friends.

Just curious. No I won't turn you in to the feds (writing on legal tender is supposed to be illegal). I know some of you that rode down last week for his services stopped to get lunch, wondered if someone might have put a few bills out there.

Thanks

It wasnt me, but tell me you got a bill with Bam Bam written on it! Even if nobody here did it...even if it was written on the bill 10 years ago by someone on the other side of the country...how "coincidental" would it be that it comes back to you of all people at a time like this!?

I know he's looking down.
He midget-tossed us with a traffic jam 2 blocks from our destination.
Rob and I were talking about larger denomination bills also.
Then we realized we wouldn't be getting $100 bills as change for anything.

I just reread the first post and see that they had his full name. I thought that they just said "Bam Bam", which could have been totally random. Either way though, its still very cool that they found their way back around!

I had never heard of people doing that, but it seems incredibly fitting that you would receive it Chris!
