Dish washer advice - October 9, 2015, 01:34 PM

Need a new dish washer, looking on advice for what to look for, where to look etc...

Going stainless, but dont need or want the very top of the line viking stuff.

Anyone know of a scratch and dent store in nova?

Thanks

Not a fan of the layout of my LG. Still better than my cheaper GE I bought 5 years ago. Ribbon cable wire was too thin and kept burning up under load. Home depot during the 4th of July sale 2 years ago was the best price and time I found. Otherwise amazon or refurb/dent store. Craigslist has tons of ads from them.

Lowes will beat Home Depot by 10%.

Both usually have 10% off appliance deals.

Use the lowes card for an additional 5% off.

Make sure the washer is stainless on the inside.

This. Bought my current dishwasher via CL for a GREAT deal. Look here first if you don't about it being "used". Easy to install yourself.

DAILY great find on appliances. One of the best categories on CL in my opinion.

I have a brand new in the box stainless Viking that I will sell fore less than half of retail. Long story short, our kitchen remodel went another direction, and by the time that was decided it was too late to return it. $750 or reasonable cash offer. PM if interested

Also, Bray & Scarff has a decent scratch and dent selection.

But seriously, I don't know of anything in VA.
Bray and Scarff has a scratch and dent warehouse in Laurel off Cherry Lane that carries high end white goods. SubZero, Bosch, Viking at discount.

Harry's Used Appliance across the street has mid-high end stuff that is often less than 1-year old used.

That's all I got for you.

Samsung is shit, btw. Kenmore isn't what it used to be either.

Surprised nobody mentioned the Sears Outlet in Woodbridge. Lots of scratch and dent in there, though keep in mind the discount they show you is off MSRP, and sales can be 20--30% off or so around holiday weekends (like this one). Keep this in mind when seeing what kind of deal you're getting.

I've bought plenty on CL as well. Great idea as long as you're not picky and in a hurry.

Sears outlet is where I plan on going tomorrow to see what their prices are, Ive already identified a few units from their sight and researched their reviews, most likely I will end up walking out of there with a new unit.

Just go on CL and find one then pay her to leave. Much cheaper.

Backpages.
They all work for roses ... at least according to their ads.
