"Do you remember when?" - The Participation Thread - February 19, 2009, 05:38 AM

For all you new folks, sometimes in the winter months we often post up meaningless participation threads just to keep us all busy during the cold and frigid season.

In this participation thread you are being asked to show your age by posting up things you remember from some time in the past of your life that has dramatically changed from then to know.

For example:

Do you remember when all phones where dial?
Do you remember when there were no cell phones and you had to use pay phones?

If you can make it motorcycle related all the better. For example:

Do you remember when almost ALL bikes were kick start?

I think you get the idea. Ok time to walk down memory lane. Let's see how many of these we can come up with. Ready?.........GO!

Do you remember when fuel injection was a cool feature and not standard? Manufacturers would put a stcker on the side of cars and bikes like it was the new messiah.

Do you remember when sandboxes were a hole your dad dug in the ground and filled with sand from Heckengers, and covered it with an old piece of plywood. And swingsets were metal and swing seats were a board?

Do you remember when playing video games, you could only go from left to right? You could never get lost playing super mario brothers on nintendo.

Speaking of nintendo and motorcycles, do any of you guys remember EXCITEBIKE? I loved that freakin game.
