Do you work at a Chevy Dealership? - July 7, 2008, 10:45 PM

The g/f is thinking about trading in her 2004 GMC Envoy XUV on the new Malibu. Whatever it's her car, not mine. Anyhow just looking for the best deal on either trading it in and or selling it straight up.
Thanks

good luck on the trade in. We went to carmax because my friend was trying to trade in her 07 explorer with ~9k miles and they only offered her 17k.

I was offered $3k for my $8k suv. The guy was blunt and said carmax isnt taking suv's and are just low balling. At this point i might as well bite the bullet and pay the extra gas because after unloading it for less them what i owe, paying the difference and going out to get a shitbox, i would of spent more then the gas i pay now.

I pretty much figured that this was the case. Well I guess the trucks may both sit for awhile at least this way we're saving the mileage on both vehicles!

I worked for Dudley Martin

Go there see Bob Rice. He is in commerical veihcles. Tell him I sent you and he will give you a good deal. As far as trade value look at kbb and take the "fair" value that will be close.
