Question for all the professionals on this site:

How many of you work at a company that uses document imaging as there means of document storage?

How many of you work at a company that is very paper intensive?

How many of you spend precious work time searching for a phsyical document?

How many of you think document imaging would be a good technology for your company to embrace?

The company I work for (a division of GSA) is currently in the process of switching from a more paper intensive tracking and ordering system to a document imaging/ all digital document format, most of the imaging done now is done to convert old but still alive projects to the new system. Dealing with and trying to find physical documentation is by far one of the most frustrating parts of my job.

We recycle.

We print out more copies of stuff than necessary. Plus people here email AND print out copies when sending something to you. Such a waste.

Well for anyone who would like to earn some extra $$ tell your company to check out www.coldcopy.com. This is my company, I started it 4 years ago with my brother. We have a good finders fee for anyone who helps bring in business. For you all here at this site, this means you could earn some extra $$ for parts and upgrades!
