Dog Days in Downtown - Leesburg, VA - October 11, 2008, 07:25 AM

Bring you dog out and say, "hi" to CamDLux and Dancing Nancy -> owners of Doggy Do Right School http://www.doggydorightschool.com
Sunday October 12th - 12 to 4 PM: Dog Days in Downtown

Historic, downtown Leesburg is "going to the dogs!" Well, at least for this Sunday afternoon. The downtown streets will be transformed into a pedestrian walkway featuring everything dog related, including dog rescue and adoption organizations, pet sitters, veterinarians, trainers, groomers, and "boutique" shops. If it's dog related, you will find it during this wonderful event.

Featured events include:
  • "Dog cooling stations," sponsored by Sonabank
  • Contests for the cutest dog, "ugliest" dog, and dog/owner look-alike with all proceeds benefiting the attending animal care, welfare, and rescue organizations.
  • K-9 demonstrations by the Leesburg Police Department

My dog would win cutest, but only because it's a puppy. It won't have it's last shots for a few weeks yet, so no dog park just yet, unfortunately.
