Do you like typing on touch screens? The droid I believe has a slide out keyboard...?

You may want to check out the new blackberry curve as well..

Some don't like to go to a touch screen. I always tell customers who transfer to a new touch screen this.

The first week you will hate it, The second week you will be use to it, the third week you will know whether or not you want it and if not, you still have another week + to return or exchange it, but you will certainly need to give it a chance.

As a blackberry user I do not like the droid. While on paper, it is the latest greatest and very catchy...you know blackberry, blackberry is reliable, and blackberry has a very good support. I have the storm. I've dealt with the issue's as i've had it since day one, and I love it. I will swap out to the storm 2 but am in no hurry.

Go to the store and play with them. Don't sign in, just tell them you are breezing around. Play with each phone for awhile and see what you like. Then ask the rep to help you. Sometimes they try and rush you in and out.

If you want you can pm me with question's you may have.

The Droid has potential, but you can't go wrong with the Blackberry.
The new Curve 8900 is veddy noice.
The Storm 2 is a marketed improvement over the Storm 1.

I've had my bold for a lot of months. Out of 30 Bolds that we have in our company none have problem. If they do have problems it is pretty easy to fix.

For Verizon I would go with:

Tour
Droid
storm 2

My BB has taken a beating and keeps working. I had a problem with the roller ball at one point but I pulled it out and cleaned the rollers and it works great now. I just orderd a new face plate for it to try to clean it up a little.

I have the curve 8330 and my only prob with it is it is a little slow loading pages.

The problem with the scroll ball is that after awhile - say a year or so, depending on how clean/dirty you are, crud builds up on the roller wheels inside the housing.

You just pop off the silver trim plate and clean the rollers with a little cotton swab and alcohol and scrap off any hardened gunk with a toothpick. 5-10 minutes of your time and good as new.

In the newer BB's (Tour, Curve 8900) they tightened the tolerances between the ball housing and ball, so now the housing acts more like a scraper.

And in the newest releases, (upcoming Pearl 9100, Curve 8500) they're not using a ball at all and instead a mini touch sensitive track like a laptop, which has actually been getting very good reviews for its accuracy and sensitivity.

The droid and the BB IMO need to stop being compared they aren't the same thing.

The BB is a work phone it integrates with a work email system seamlessly. I use all the functionality of outlook and the BB has the ability to sync up everything in my outlook to my phone which is AWESOME.

The droid is a nice phone but it doesn't sync everything up at least not that I have seen. A lady at my work has it and she can't get outlook notes to come to the phone, for me that is huge as I use them A LOT!

I have the Bold II on AT&T and I'm still not sold on the trackpad it works but at times it's too sensitive and I've played with the settings and it hasn't changed much to me. It's really bad when you have lotion on your hands or something and try to use the damn thing!

If you need the phone to work with a enterprise email and integrate seamlessly then get a BB, if you need a smart phone that you can customize and make your own get the droid.

Release the houndssssss!
You're not suppose to be using your BB while tickling the pickle.
