If anyone is interested.

permits are $125 for the year (jan17 - jan17) available from the reading anthracite company (Pottsville pa) during normal business hours (8:30 4:30.) Some form of insurance and registration is needed to get the permit.

The terrain varies from wide haul roads to single track to massive hill climbs.

(it's abt 3.5hr drive from Chantilly)
