so are they saying that there was a crack on the rail at the accident site that they're just now finding out about...

or

Is this totally unrelated to the accident but everyone is being over precautious?

B/c I just told my girl to hop on the metro to meet me after work.

Not to say this in vain but planes crash as well. It's not more tragic or less tragic, but i think if everyone gets overly paranoid then like can't be enjoyed. Now if we found out all this was done intentionally buy messing with the train computer then taht's a different story...

It's totally unrelated to the recent disaster except in the sense that here we have a set of identical conditions that preceded it. Here we are, just a couple days later, and they're sharing a single track on the red line... again. If there has ever been a time when one would hesitate to hop on the red line, this is it.

This came from administration, not from a cute lil scientist from overseas. I've been at the NIH now for close to 4 years, and I will just about bet the farm that "Jane Doe" is sporting some serious desk butt.

Rode the redline from Twinbrook to Dupont today. Except for the 30 minute wait for the frst train everything else was pretty smooth.
