they're here:
NoiseOFF - The Coalition Against Noise Pollution - Home

and they hate you and your motorcycle

"Millions of people are adversely affected by motorcycle noise."

"Left in the wake of a typical loud pipe ride are hundreds or even thousands of citizens who are literally made ill by the toxic effects of stress response"

really?

"Please PIPEDOWN Newsletter: October 2010

Heard in shopping malls, grocery stores, department stores, restaurants and elevators, piped music is ubiquitous and annoying. PIPEDOWN-USA is a published source for news about the campaign for freedom from piped music."

Some people have WAY too much free time.

Or spend too much time in elevators?

I like this part best:

"Do not approach or attempt to reason with motorcycle riders. When possible, take down their license plate number and call the police. "

I think this cautionary statement could be rewritten to get the point across a little better:

"Do not approach or attempt to reason with motorcycle riders. They are Evil; can spit acid and bolts of lightning can be called forth from their finger tips. When possible take down their license plate number but do not read the script as your eyes will bleed. Do not call the police, call for a priest to excise your soul as it may be lost to damnation."

or

"Do not approach or attempt to reason with motorcycle riders. They are nice people who like candy, have jobs, enjoy social interaction. We hear at NoiseOff are control freaks who seek to dictate to others how to live. Take down their plate numbers and anonymously report illicit activity by the motorcyclists such as street racing, shooting small animals, defilement of virgins. Lying is acceptable to further our cause."

Ditto the off road section.....

Quote:
Take Action

Do not approach or attempt to reason with riders. When possible, call the police.

Learn the existing noise codes in your community and how it applies to off-road vehicles. Lobby officials for a stronger noise and zoning codes to ban them.

Lobby police to increase patrols and fines for offenders.

Talk to your neighbors and organize; work with community groups and raise the issue of off-road vehicle noise.
