A favor from those who rode with Eric (TheIrishGuy) - May 6, 2008, 06:26 PM

A friend of Ericís has called me and informed me that his family is trying to learn more about his life and times that he spent out here on the east coast. Ericís family is from California and to help in the closer process they would like to hear some stories of his life with his friends in the Virginia area.
Being a transplant to this area myself and knowing that my friends and family back home in Chicago have hardly any idea of what my life is like out here I can understand why his family would like to know these things. If those of you who rode with him, worked with him, Drank with him, or any of you that he made smile and laugh could please take a little of your time and write up a little story that comes to mind when you think of him.

If you would like to post it here in this thread feel free to do so. If you would like to keep it more personal please email it to me at Dsugrue@gmail.com I will be combining all of the stories into one hopefully large email and printed book and forwarding it to his family.
Thank you in advance to all of you that help his family in the grieving process

Dan Sugrue

Nubbsy, hit up PrnstrChrldr on here. She knew him better than any of us.Even though I worked with him, She knew him from California when he was in the Marine Corps and then her and her husband got stationed here in Maryland. He used to go up there on the weekends sometimes and stay with them. I will send you my info in an e-mail later. How about organizing a memorial ride later this summer?

R.I.P. Eric. You were truly like a younger brother to me. May you live on in all those you helped and reached out to help. You are truly missed!

tfinch: well, actually, if he did, that's fine cause it's in the pockets!
tfinch
: Mike, can you feel bubbles floating around in there?

tfinch: Bubbles! Yes! Gurgly bubbles!

Shannon (prnstrchrldr) is the one that asked me to do this. Because of the loss of Eric her and i meet and I consider her a good friend even tho we dont get to see of talk to each other as much as I would like she is still a good friend.
