Fedex Rant - March 12, 2012, 01:52 PM

So I ordered Q2's from STG .. the tracking showed that it was delivered last Thursday but I did not receive anything .. I called them and they said they delivered it to the right address .. really? So I went ahead working on the claim and got the thing done .. as soon as I submit my claim I get a call that the driver is on the way to deliver it .. they had delivered it to the wrong address is what they said to me .. why weren't they able to tell me in the first place that it was delivered to the wrong address? Sound fishy to me

Ever had to deal with Lasership? They're the worst and that's what Amazon mostly uses for their 2 day Prime delivery in this area.

Fedex driver needed them for a trackday this weekend.
At least they'll be broken in when you receive them.

So they delivered them to the wrong house,
then you called and said you didn't get them,
then they contacted the driver in route, corrected the mistake, and rerouted the tires back to your house?

Those mother fuckers!

I think it is more of an issue of misinformation. Them telling him it was delivered to the correct address last Thursday and it all of a sudden reappearing on a truck en route to his house is a little shady.

Probably honest mistake and wasn't handled correctly by the CSR or the driver was trying to cover his ass until he could correct it himself.

This is my guess.
The dispatch can only go by what the driver inputs, until they can talk to him/her and figure it out. It they checked "delivered" on their little computer thing, then no one is the wiser.

This .. I would have been totally cool if they had just said they made a mistake so I wouldn't freak out over the weekend thinking whether I would be able to make it to the td coming weekend

true. If that is the case, then they have an extremely fast claims department to get the package picked up from the wrong location and on it's way to the correct location that quickly.

Either way, I've had UPS do this to me multiple times, but I don't blame them. I blame whoever gave my neighborhood it's house numbers. There are about 9 roads in my neighborhood and around 100 house. There are 4 houses with the house number '8161'.

My guess is that this guy did the numbering
