I could process the situation more easily if the looting, protest, and tear gas videos were dubbed with "Turn Down For What"?

These protests have about the same amount to do with that kid as the LA Riots had to do with Rodney King.

If this was an isolated occurrence, it wouldn't be a big deal.

THe people looting and destroying their own neighborhoods don't give two fucks about the situation. They're opportunist scumbags

I'll give them props when they burn down police stations and take the fight to the "enemy"

Again, I'm separating the protests from the looting/stealing.

No cameras + no media = No opportunity to churn the cash mill

I'm just glad some disenfranchised youth were able to get new flat screens and Jordans out of the situation.

They are taking out the local police and handing over responsibility to the highway patrol. So basically the resolution is the same as the ending to Super Troopers.

Fuck looters. And fuck the militarization of the police.

Oh, and also, fuck race-baiting opportunists like sharpton, et al. Where were these faggots a few weeks ago when 60 black people were killed by other black people inside a single weekend in chicago.
This. All day long.

Remember that even the LEO's are there to protect and serve, they are for the most part a REACTIVE force. So as they aren't 100% sure as to what the crowd has in mind they might be bringing more to the "fight" than may be needed. Remember that they are also people that want to watch out for the cop next to them and go home safely at the end of all of this as well.

Sooner or later the folks who are pushing the envelope with other than peaceful demonstration practices will test the line, and it'll only take one thing. I just pray that no live ammo has been distrubuted to the riot police as another "bad shoot" would be a disastrous situation. If that happens, you better believe the anti-cop crazies will be showing up and turning Ferguson into a dangerous place to be for all sides.

Cops protect and serve? Horseshit. In what country?

If they shoot some more people that would suck, but would draw out the anti-cop "crazies"? Because it's perfectly sane to kill innocent people...

Holy shit dude... What the fuck are you saying?

THe fergeson cops have escalated at every opportunity. They are definitely not "protecting and serving"

Sorry I didn't make that clear in my post., but I don't believe we entirely agree on this.

I'm tired of hearing "officer safety" used to justify weak ass shit.

Oh, and a police officer apparently executed a young unarmed black man shooting him 8 times although he was on his knees with his hands raises after an alleged scuffle with the officer for jaywalking/walking int he street.
