Fight Pix - November 14, 2007, 12:25 PM

Here are the pix from my fight this past Saturday (November 10th). The guy was tough as nails. He took several knees to the head, face, jaw and kept coming. I ended up winning a unanimous decision but DAYUM ... I wanted to finish him. Didn't end up that way though. More fights this month, and January as well.

Buying a sportbike to go the speed limit (which you do not do in your car) is like buying a condom to look at it.

Do you buy a condom to look at it? No you buy it to fuck.
Thank you Rossi

No, although I heard about those. These were 30 minutes South of Richmond.

The Patriot Center is having an event November 30th. A couple of my buddies from Militech in Iowa are fighting (Ryan Farhat and Joe Jordan). Joe has fought in the UFC and as fought some big names. I'll be cornering with Joe for Ryan and probably Joe's fight as well if he doesn't have another cornerman.

EVERYONE SHOULD COME CHECK THEM OUT!!!! SUPPORT LOCAL MMA!!!

Thanks guys! Yeah, I remember that clip. I actually started in Muay Thai years ago, had several Muay Thai fights, began training BJJ for a couple of years before taking my first MMA fight. Thai fights are harder on the body than MMA. Plus, in MMA you can tap (i.e quit) without worrying about the negative stigma. If you're in a Thai fight or Boxing and quit .... you're a LOSER! at least in the public's eyes.

Mos Def! I'll be sure to post when I'm fighting or even the next event. There are several local events now being promoted (Patriot Center, DC venues, Sportsplex in Winchester, etc). I'll make sure to post to keep the DCSBN crew abreast so they can come out and support their own. It would be nice to have an entire CREW come out to show support.
