OK I'm going out with this new girl this weekend. I am stumped trying to figure out something to do. She doesn't want to go to DC and I know she has already been to the inner harbor many times. I don't want to do the typical dinner and a movie thing. No overnight trips or anything (this is a first date) Any suggestions? Ladies...any first dates from your past really stand out (due to the date, not he fact that so and so was sooo hot and your were like..totally into him)? And I'm serious here...so save the "take her to KFC then bring her home and nail her" type remarks. Although if I thought it would work I'd be all for that plan

I would suggest a day date rather than evening. If it goes well it can overflow into the evening.

You ask about a good first date? I went to the Spy Museum and late lunch/early dinner once. Depends on what she's interested in.

Ed -

Best first dates.......
1. Zoo
2. Horseback riding
3. A walk downtown

You'd be surprised how many locals have not been to tourist spots...
Think of a good one that people go to.. Mt. Vernon or something

wine tasting?

Tanya likes to go on cruiser rides.
Take her flying.
Williamsburg has a nice restaraunt on the field.

Williamsburg is a little far. I don't think 3 hours in the car each way is a good first date.

I said fly.
About 40 min by small plane.
Bet she hasn't done that before.
If you aren't a pilot I could be persuaded to offer my services...

this is sad you really asking people for advise here?
it depends how you think of this girl of, is it going to be a fun girl or do you see her as a long term?
night is always better cause then you dont have to rush to go anywhere.
ask her what she would like to do? and listen to her. let her order first, open the door for her. don't be serious thst the date becomes a bore but dont be a jerk either that she thinks you are a little boy.
most of all be your self. you might want to hit a movie and let her select the movie.
dude i can write a book on this, but most of all be yourself do not try to impress her, but be a gentelman.
treat her with respect all the way. don't forget your wallet. if she offers to pay for you be a man and accept it.
in the conversation don;t talk about bikes and you. find about her, listen and spand on that.
nuff said.

Ok, mid-day...

Go to a massage parlor and get a tension relief session done on both of you in the same room with two hot chicks, then go to a sushi restaurante for lunch afterwards.
