Fixing signatures - March 22, 2007, 10:22 AM

Fellow .NETters, Not to step on admin toes here, but just a suggestion:

now that rob has eliminated pictures in signatures, please look at what you have entered as your signature. If you used to have pictures, instead of a picture, the URL for the image is instead displayed. For some people, this forces the natural width of your post to be HUGE, requiring side scrolling to view what should be a nice narrow post, and preventing good word wrap for other posts.

I know I'm not the only one to notice this, but if everyone who posts takes a quick glance at the signature tab in user cp, and deletes the URLs for images that will no longer be displayed, the board would be much more streamlined.

I want to live in a world this simple one day!

Remember when we used to think a calculator was a computer?

When our grandpa's used to say "They charge for everything now! And my lord $.50 cent a gallon for gas. One day they will charge for air & water!"

I'm always looking for ways to reduce annoyance in my life.

btw - calculators are computers depending on the definition you use.

Technically speaking, a computer is an object that calculates. An abacus (the ancient Chineese counting machine) is a computer. I guess that makes me one 'cause I still count on my fingers like my dad the math PhD taught me... I'ma total
