Apple is going to rule the world ...

The new Ipod touch is phenomenal ..

I just ordered the apple tv, I know WTV may have better specs, but I know the UI will be better on the apple tv, plus better integration with my ipad, iphone, and macbook pro.

Shhhhhhhhh!
There's someone on this board trying to sell a brand new 3G 8GB Ipod Touch.
I only passed because it didn't have enough storage.

I got a Roku box for streaming my NetFlix (don't have a game machine). Its only 4"x4"x1" and under 100 bucks.. Nice cause it frees up my PC so I'm not cabled to the TV all the time (which I HATE)...

Per Apple... Apple UI's always infuriate me.. I love the hardware, but apps like itunes really BLOW!!!

When they put a camera in the damned thing and give it video out, a USB port (and no, buying a special cable for the stupid connector on the bottom isn't the same thing) I'll consider one.. Until then, its just a toy.

The problem with appleTV is the lack of expandability and streaming. I bought a Mac mini for my media computer, it streams any web content, accesses all my iTunes libraries over the network and front row, and is worth the premium to have a real computer instead of just a tv

I use my Xbox 360 to stream movies directly from my computer. I even have a universal remote so i don't have to use the xbox controllers.

Plus I can play halo reach in 14 days.

Then again... That's just me.

I was thinking about it. If you break down what you pay for shows on cable, what's that break down to per episode? I think with how little I actually watch TV it's more than $1/show. I bet it's like twice that.

I was thinking about it today after watching their stream, but I don't think it will be worth it. If I could use hulu and watch torrents and stuff, it wouldn't be bad, but it seems to be lacking in functionality for me. I'm thinking I will get a mac mini if I do get anything.

It has no storage though, so I wonder how all that works. I wonder if I would be able to stream downloaded shows from a network drive or another computer. I never messed with the old apple tv.
