Lightbulb FREE Beer for Bands, Musicians, Artists!!! No BS - April 30, 2010, 02:34 AM

.net: If you are a band/solo-artist/group, or know one, please keep reading. I'm looking for local bands to play AND get paid AND get free alcohol at Blue Water Grille in Centreville!!!

So, I've been booking bands and running sound on Saturday nights there since November and have had some pretty decent shows. Couple shows recently have been lacking in draw, and I'm trying to expand my connection of bands to include those that may happen to have members here.

So, if you are in a band looking for another venue to expose yourself, DRINK FREE BOOZE, get Paid, and you would like to play Blue Water Grille in C-ville, please contact me. BWG and I work together to help promote the shows through flyers(web, print) FB invites, etc. in order to bring as many people as possible. We have a sound system so that you don't need to lug one out. You have a sound engineer dedicated to helping you sound your best What more could you ask for?

If you know a band, please have them contact me.

If any you know Usman on here, his band Black Novella will be playing there with Cerca Trova May 15th!

What's the venue and clientele like?

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

It's a bar/restaurant, with restaurant on one side and smoking bar on the other separated by a door and a hallway. The bar has about 6 plasmas hung up around, the area the band plays is on one end the room, floor level, no stage, intimate.

The clientele is pretty broad there are a bunch local neighborhood young 20s that come in, off work business folks, people tend to come in to the bar to get loaded before going out to dc, I even saw the Salahi's there a couple months ago, the couple that crashed the White House party. The waitresses are real cute, and the staff is pretty attentive.

The place holds about 150. We always have a blast there. Everyone that's played there wants to come back because they have such a good time.
