Free WIndows 10 Until July 29th. Get it? or No ? - June 24, 2016, 11:26 AM

I noticed me and allot of other Windows 7 users have the free Windows 10 upgrade window pop up.

Anyone have Windows 10?
Is it good? better than Windows 7?
Look familiar?
I despised Windows 8 and was scared of Windows 10.
Offer ends July 29th so I am thinking about updating my computers.

Whats the deal?

Yes, I have Windows 10.
It's well improved over Windows 7.
Somewhat. Lots has matured so some interfaces will be different.

I don't care for the upgrade path of going from any previous OS to windows 10, I prefer a fresh installation.

On average I buy fresh full copies, but I think Ill do the free upgrade on one of my lap tops that I just started up for the first time this year lol.

If it looks good, ill do free upgrade on them all and if shit happens later down the line Ill buy a full copy...maybe Windows 11 or 12 will be out.

I got lazy...did no research on Windows 10. I just hear its a mix of windows 7 visually and windows 8 technically.

I like it but have had issues with one laptop. I've done the upgrade twice and each time it will stop booting after two days. The other two worked out with no problems at all.

U/I changes will take some getting used to but overall Win10 is a better product than Win7.

Microsoft supported XP for years after is was supplanted by newer versions. This time it is unlikely that they will support Windows 7 past the stated 1/1/20 cutoff. You will want Windows 10 because that is what will be more functional for your computer.

Mac OS over Windows any day.

I will never go back to Windows. I have VMWare and Parallels for running windows "IF" necessary which is extremely rare.
