Fuck US AIRWAYS (lost my luggage) - September 1, 2009, 09:11 AM

Just a quck rant to say a big fuck you to US Airways for screwing up my vacation to portland oregon.

Upon arrival, neither my clothing bag, nor my golf clubs made it to portland.

Awsome! 36 hours of no clothes, no bathroom stuff really ROCKED. It was fun playing golf the next morning in the same clothes i wore all day before and RENTAL clubs. Sahweeet!

Clothing bag got delivered to my hotel. however, my golf clubs are NOWHERE to be found now. They tried putting my clubs on a united flight to get them to portland faster. However they were last scanned in CHICAGO! and have not been heard of since last thursday.

I hope the fuck that stole my clubs is having a great time out on the LINKS.

So a huge apology to Chris aka Castle for loaning me his golf travel case, which is now GONE!

Have to submit a claim today to get $$ for my lost clubs. They better pay me all the shit everything is worth.

/Rant

Electronics and jewelry are the worst since they reimburse almost nothing so you may be in a better situation since you didn't loose any (from what I read). Amex offers travelers protection too but it's not worth much either (and it's contingent upon using the Amex to book and pay for your travel)

Good luck on the reimbursement and I just hope they return your clubs.

my supervisor went to Paris for a week....no luggage for a week. Airline lost it and it was never found.

Men are qualified for civil liberties in exact proportion to their disposition to put moral chains upon their appetites: in proportion as their love of justice is above their rapacity...Society cannot exist, unless a controlling power upon will and appetite be placed somewhere; and the less of it there is within, the more there must be without. Never EVER check any electronics or jewelry.

And sorry to hear about your luggage, I've been there and it sucks.

When the airlines lost my luggage a few years ago i had to list everything that was in the bag and then how old it was. When I got my reimbursement check, the fuckers took the value of the item and deducted 10% for every year old it was. So if I had a 6 year old $100 watch, they only gave me $40 for it. Which is annoying as shit especially since it would cost a lot more than $40 to replace my watch.

But i hope you dont have to deal with any of that and they find your suitcase. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

Oregon and Washington are probably the most beautiful places in the USA.
Beach, skiing, camping, golf, fishing, lakes, Mt. Hood, rafting, etc.
If you like anything outdoors to me you can't beat the scenery of that part of our great country.
You will have to go overseas to do anything better!

Edit: Colorado is damn close though!

The portland coast was very cool. You got to hit the coast at least once.

The state does have every type of entertainment.

It is awesome out there!!!!

Spud think from now on we get to pay US airways to loose our stuff. How great is that. "here is my $25 for my clothing bag and $50 for my clubs now can you do me a favor and loose those for me so I never see them again"

I already feel sorry for the person that gets to deal with me when that time comes
