Fucked up things about cops - July 31, 2009, 11:53 PM

A buddy of mine got puller over for a 'no headlights at dusk' when it was still very light outside. He ended up thinking he knew one fo the LEO's and called him Dale, turned out it was his brother. The other cop kept pressing and pressing to search the vehicle, and in the end they just told him that the vet leo had the rookie pull him over and told him the plan was to try and somehow get a search on the vehicle.

Anyone else thinks it's fucked up people are getting pulled over by rookies as 'training'. Probably where half of the speedings tickets for bikes on roads where 10+ the speed limit is regular.

Slow: In the English it sends the relations of bikes! First, I hoped which he speaks you I completely thought you confuse your of homosexual ox by the way. I examine your silly practically joke and lol entire day, relative to this in the brain of mine. I want to know any you about the unicorn, the potato, the cheese and the ham all ideas. It fumigates ham unequivocally. My own self-esteem fumigates ham. It is special in some white grain crops. Very tasty mm. You knew that my friend of times it ate ostrich which it fumigates! That silly it does not exist! although an attempt at the identity card it, im confirmed which possibly it tries by sufficiently good! After this, I must go. Thanks memorys!

If you're not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about.

Oversimplification.

"Wrong" is a term open to heavy interpretation. For instance it was "wrong" for black people to ride at the front of a public bus 50 years ago, or it was "wrong" to drink alcohol of any kind at the start of the 20th century, these were arrestable offenses... In the not-so-distant future it may be "wrong" to light a cigarette.

What is "wrong" may not be wrong at all, just unlawful, and unlawful has a way of meaning something totally different from time to time.

I prefer that my right to remind a cop that they are simply another citizen, vested with specific rights in order to protect and serve the interests of the public... my interests, remain in my power. Something that seems to be largely forgotten by that specific force.

cool story. do you keep this same tone when an officer is resting his hand on his pistol while asking you for your license and registration?

I couldn't agree more with the overall message of this post. If each of us turned ourselves in for all the unlawful things we did in the past month, I'm sure some hefty fines are where things would start. Some of us would probably get jail time. That's if the LEO who hears the confessions cares. How many of us committed moral offenses in the past month? Probably not very many at all.

How's my posting? Please direct all concerns and inquiries to DCSBN's chief content manager, Hollywood, via PM.

How can "breaking the law" be twisted that far out of proportion?

By definition, basically, breaking the written law = wrong.

Isn't that what we teach our children?

I hope to teach mine the art of independent thought. I believe that most laws are necessary for protecting the general public. I believe that some laws are in place for making an officer's ability to search and seize much easier as well. I won't consent to a search unless the officer gives me good reason for wanting one. I've inconvenienced myself a few times when I was younger waiting for drug dogs to show up. I said no not because I had something to hide. I said it because of the principle.

It's very hard for me to wrap my head around following laws written, and signed by some of the largest law breakers out there. The secret handshake club pisses me off. Call it professional courtesy....whatever. It shouldn't be like that.
