Gaming: Need For Speed Rivals?? Anyone (Nex-Gen PS4 or XBox One) - November 14, 2013, 08:11 AM

So I took the liberty of using Amazon's 2 for 3 sale a couple of days ago for the PS4 and scored Need For Speed Rivals. I had forgot how much I liked racing until GTA5.

I picked it up hoping to be able to do some local multiplayer with the wife but I found out it will not have "split screen". Seeing that she would barely play anyways I decided to stick with the order.

What racing games have you all come to like? I tried GT5 last year but it was a little too much for her.

I have not played NFS in years. I am hoping this one does not kill it for me.

Any reviews of past NFS titles?

I became bored with the most recent Need for Speed Most Wanted pretty quickly.

Need For Speed Most Wanted (the original one) has to be one of the best racing games ever. Hot Pursuit I really liked the online races but wasn't too motivated by the solo races. And there was another after that which seemed really good in the demo mostly cause of the sick ass graphics, forgot the name, but it's like a coast to coast race.

The biggest setbacks I see with these games now a days is that online multiplayer is the best feature. However when the game first comes out there's plenty of players and a couple weeks later there's barely any action cause people moved on to the next game.
