How about a national don't buy food day or a national don't buy health insurance day? Sounds good on paper but not gonna happen.

How about a national don't drive or ride day? Or a national stop your whinning cause we have the cheapest gas in the world day. Go cry to my friends in England or Ireland who pay $7 or $8 dollars a gallon (after the conversion) They would LOOOOOVE to pay ONLY $3.00 a gallon for high grade

Then again... That's just me.

This doesn't apply to every country but alot of them have more mass transit and the tax is different. I believe the fuel is how the government gets most of their $$$ and they have less tax (if any) on other things. Anyone who knows more of this then me i'm curious. But the fact gas has gone up 250% in 5 years is ridiculous. Hell, it was a buck fitty what a year ago

When its over $10 to fill my bike thats not so fun.... Makes it less of a cheap, recreational vehicle. Guess I'll just go buy a boat.

Just FYI, and I know some people will hate me for this, this weekend, my girlfriend and I snuck away for some R&R to the northern neck, while there I tanked just off 95, where 17 S. and Rt. 1 S. are the same road, at the RaceTrack gas station regular was $2.35...

uh, we aint got the cheapest gas in the world by any means. I just got back from San Juan, 0.62 a gallon. Our Gov. rapes us on taxes for gas. The last article i read said the taxes on a gallon of gas are over 1.00

Kind of makes you wonder why our own citizens won't let us drill in Alaska or off the coast of VA, eh?
