Helluva game by Eli again tonight! Next week is gonna be interesting...
SF's defense is OK. The Giants defense is stronger all around. Advantage Giants.
SF's offense doesn't have many options as the Giants.
Gore & ... whomever decides to step up that night is basically all they have.
On any particular game someone on the Giants goes bezerk and becomes the game breaker.
Cruz burns you on long plays week in, week out.
Lately Manningham has been the automatic 10-20yrd guy.
Then sometimes the Jacobs & Bradshaw duo beat the crap out of Defenses. Bradshaw makes them run him down and get winded. Then Jacobs comes in and trucks them on 3rd and 4th down for the short gain, 1st down, or TD rush.
And you can't forget about their TE, Ballard who didn't play. He's no Gronkowski, but still a very credible TE threat across the middle.
The one thing I wish Coughlin would do is to PLEASE stop making Jacobs run it up the gut 90% of the damn time. It's ridiculous. Jacobs is a Tight End who they converted to RB. Let him swing it out and catch for god's sake. Run a dual TE set every now and then.
Basically stop being so predictable with his plays and let him be a wild card.

Meh the Packers offense was supposed to be ten times better than Giants. Defense wins games and SF has the best in the NFL right now.
SF does have the best - except when they play games against high powered Offenses.
Then they look better than average, but not great.
We shall see though.
The Giants have a history of playing party crasher with higher ranked opponents in the playoffs. It's as if they seem to gear. It's when they play lower ranked opponents, that's when they stumble.
