Gilbert Arenas - New City, Same Crazy. Fined By The NBA - June 10, 2011, 06:09 PM

He gave a live play-by-play of the blind date he was set-up on the other night.

But then the NBA fined him because he used the word "fuck" in an unrelated tweet paraphrasing exactly what his coach said.

I don't know about this one. The NBA is coming dangerously close to 1st amendment violations in my opinion. Off-season comment on a personal page?

I don't see why they going after him, it isn't like he was bashing the NBA or anything. But I reckon he's still remodling "poster child of the NBA" right! They probaly have a clause in contract that doesnt aloud that kind of stuff.

Is this real man? Or someone acting like him or was this all a joke...

hahah...that's pretty f'd up for him to broadcast this shit b/c obviously she is going to read everything he was saying....

I truly believe Gil's mother leaving him has got to have some sort of negative psycological effect on his relationships with women as a whole....maybe I'm stating the obvious here, no?

What do you value more? Life or Image?

This is Gilbert Arenas we're talking about.
The guy who took a shit in his teamate's shoes because he thought it would be funny.
Or stole another teamates clothes and towel while he was in the shower, then pulled the fire alarm.
Or let the air out of a teamate's tires and he didn't notice until he was on the highway and the car was driving funny.
Or...or...or...

I mean those are locker room antics...

how is that different than any shit Johnny Knoxville or Bam Magera have done in their lifetimes????

This is a date with a woman....it's one thing to text those comments to your boy with your date...another to put them up on a blog/twitter for the world including her friends and family whom I'm sure she told she had a date with Gilbert Arenas...(unless it was a blind for her as well....)

All of those examples u gave don't really justify WHY one should not pause to think of his actions....

...granted I get what you are saying....yes dude is very immature.

It is all fun and games until someone gets knocked the fuk out. I'm too old for that crap. Let my buddy do that to me and I guarantee he would think twice before doing it again.
