Really hoping GMC puts this into their future lineup. I would take this over a Raptor anyday.

They need a stripped down long travel diesel pre-runner.... all the plastic and flash is stupid for what they are targeting.

$4.00/gal diesel?
Tax Payer bail loan still not repaid?
Fuel economy, weight savings, hybrid?

Fuck all that, hey guise let's build another big expensive truck that'll be lucky to sell more than 5,000 units a year. Genius.

Another overdone truck honestly. Very few people will actually need it and with the current gas prices, very very few will buy it for the "IT" factor. Plus that interior needs to be revamped on the quick like.

Hmm, I've seen those big trucks in the Dakar rally and they seem to tear ish up pretty well. Not to mention they get better gas mileage and torque.
I would think off road, torque is more important than outright horsepower.

I guess its really what you're doing.. advantage - torque (I don't even think about gas mileage when I'm off road), disadvantage - weight
