GMU Motorcycle Parking - April 23, 2009, 10:23 AM

So wtf? Mason is enforcing (ticketing) the rule that only ONE bike can be parked in ONE of the spaces. You can easily fit two bikes in one spot. wtf?

sorry had to vent.

In fact, I'll do it right now. I just need to be stealth with putting them up.

haha i saw we petition it. no more than two bikes to a spot. why would they make the spot big if it's only allowing one bike? so stupid

yeah, I think its stupid, the first few months they did nothing about it, but recently I saw they were ticketing everyone. I dont see whats wrong if were helping them by making better use of all the space.

We all should do something about it. I mean it only makes sense that 6 bike spots and turn into 12 with plenty of room to get in and out.

haha. well i was told by peeps that bikes are having a hard time maneuvering out of the spot b/c many bikes are parked close to each other. i only see that when bikes purposely try to squeeze into a spot. i'll admit i've done that before.

still, parking @ mason = WHACK!

I used to go up on the sidewalk from a little staff lot (or something) off pohick lane before the toll booth and park behind the building. Totally concealed, and I only took night classes so there was never any "staff" or "maintenance" people or whatever that lot was for. The bike was virtually invisible in the dark. There's actually a lot of nooks and crannies to hide in around there.

I wasn't paying that

I used to park on the sidewalk right outside my sister's dorm
