Good mechanic referral for Leesburg - April 14, 2013, 09:38 AM

I am looking for a referral for a great mechanic shop for my F150. She is getting a little long in the tooth and rather than get a new truck, I want to save my money for more bikes.

I was using Jerry's Ford in Leesburg and I am tired of their half-assed service and expesnive rates. I have no issue paying good money for good results. They ain't it.

My truck is an 05 and is really due for a full tune up and new tires. (and if mama ain't lookin, new rims).

Do not take it to Loudon Auto Repair under any circumstances. They fucked up my Ram so bad that I practically had to sell it.

A quick look at their online reviews will show you that I'm not alone.

Don't have anyone to recommend, but I can concur that Jerry's Ford Leesburg mechanics are GARBAGE

I have heard that Preston from Auto Solutions in downtown Leesburg knows his shit, but I've never actually taken my car there, so I can't recommend them, but I would try giving them a call.

I have only taken my cars there for inspections but they seem run a good shop.

Undisputed Autosports in Sterling. One man shop. The guy is a Ford trained mechanic and does a thorough job. I literally just had my 90K service & tires this past week. If you are interested I can find his number. Doesn't look like much, but I've watched him & chatted while he does the work. He does it by the book and makes sure it is right.

Folks used to speak highly of Curry's. I personally never took a vehicle there but I know several people with F-150s that took them there for years. Might be worth looking at them.

Ted Britt in chantilly, they have a Diesel dept that does tons of trucks in general and work on commercial vehicles so they have unique mechanics for that. However they won't be any cheaper than most dealerships.

Accurate Automotive in Purcellville has always done great work. I do all the maintenance and everything myself on my own vehicle but one time my thermostat failed and I had them do it. They've worked on a few of my family's cars and always done a good job for wayyy less than dealership prices. A neighbor of ours actually recommended them and they had been taking all their cars there for years now. Chris is the owner and he definitely knows his shit.

I recommend a shop called C&C auto right by RNR in Sterling off Woodland Rd. They are a good honest shop. I've been going there for over 10 years and they have serviced 5 of my vehicles.

Tell them Brad sent you.
