Goodbye to a friend... - March 28, 2006, 09:21 PM

I just wanted to take a second and say goodbye to my friend - Gerald Burke Jr. who was 39 yrs old. He died last Thursday. You might have heard it on the news. He was that D.C. Police Officer in the Third District. They had his memorial mass today in D.C. I am going to N.Y. to bury my friend tomorrow.

His Aorta ripped which cause severe bleeding into the sac around his heart. Basically, a heart attack. This hit me like a brick. I had just talked to him the day before and I told him to tell his fiancee I said hello!

What happened....

Article

They played the 911 tape on the news and at the memorial service right before they played taps. He was on the phone with the 911 dispatcher when he had the heart attack. He was a damn nice guy...

R.I.P. my friend...
