And I agree.

Not an apple fanboi like some. But for a techie like me, they are significantly better currently than the Windows stuff IMO. I'm at 3.5 years on my work macbook pro....and other than needing more hard drive space....it's still running better and faster then any of my windows machines. And by now I would be coming up on my 3rd complete wipe & rebuild of a windows laptop. (I add / remove software tools regularly to evaluate them, that shreds a windows box.)

I'd love to get something like this for my daughter around the house. Cheap, does everything, etc. But for now, a Kindle it is.

Lost my pavilion hd4 something or other when I moved a couple months ago.

This might be a good replacement. Just for browsing / easy Internet stuff (read Porn).

The iPad drives me nuts with some input and website quirks.

Maybe I'll check out the kiosks they have at bestbuy

It's good. I might even get one for travel. However can I update the RAM? I gotta be able to use Adobe Suite in all my machines and 2Gigs aint gonna cut it...
