Got the bad tap on the shoulder - February 24, 2009, 02:16 PM

Hey all,

As you know with the economy and outsourcing things are getting hard. Well my company reduced size in my team and couple of positions are going away. I will be without a job come April. If you or anyone you know is looking for an IT guy please let me know. I have my resume ready with references so any leads are welcome. My current position is a Technical Support Manager with a focus on software trouble shooting with strong skills in Unix, Oracle and systems administration. I'll be looking so please post up.

Thanks upfront,

Glenn

Let's hope for his sake he does. I can get him a job if he does.

Cruiserhubby's company, Intersections in Chantilly, is often looking for capable IT folks, especially if you know Sharepoint.

PM me if you're interested and I'll give you an email to send your resume.

economy blows. My work just tossed out 20 ppl in our office alone. 3 engineers within our transportation group which is hitting close to home.

Whats left of us has two weeks to finish a submittal then we are all sitting with our thumbs up our ass.

At least you got notice, the layoffs we had were at noon and you got a box to pack up and move out asap.
