Ok, work gave me a PDA that has bluetooth. SO, I went and spent some money and bought "Pharos Pocket GPS Navigator" and it seems to be a piece of crap! I typed in all 3 addresses of TWT's and guess what. It couldnt find any of them exactly. It each said, "Address can not be found..." but it put me in the general area. Is this what I can expect from this stuff?

Does anyone know of any better software? I contacted TomTom but they said that their new version isnt exactly compatible with my PDA. I have the Simens SX66. I already called them and complained. I asked iif there is any other software that is compatible. They said as long as it is NMEA compliant and has a data rate of 4800, it is compatible.

Anyone have any help ot have any suggestions?!

Just buy a dedicated GPS. Nicole bought me a Garmin eTrex for $200. It's sweet.

Now if I can just get a hold of some better maps...

I'm not really worried about finding things though. The problems with my maps are that the highways and streets are mapped more like suggestions as to where they are. Sometimes is only 5-10ft off, others can be up to 50ft off. And that doesn't include the problems with roads just drawn wrong, no bends in roads where there should be, etc...

Yaa, I got a garmin etrex also... don't regret it... but I'm still arguing with myself if I should buy the $70 ('n higher) map software.

It's got the major roads 'n highways, so atleast I know I won't get lost anymore.

Truth: Marines are the Ambassadors in Blue, they can be found in all "climes" and place.

...But, do you know how a Marine "rates" the countries and cities he's toured?

...By how easy it is to get laid, get drunk, and get in a fight.

...Go figure.

Nothing can be perfect. It does put me in the general vicinity. Just surprised me that 3 of the addresses that I put in it couldnt find..One of the addresses is fairly new so I expected that it wouldnt have it...
