Gran Turismo 5 Challenge Thread - November 27, 2010, 09:46 AM

Ok here is how this will work! I set up the first challenge the other day but we only had two people including myself competing in it! Winner of the challenge when the time expires will set up the next challenge. Please keep it to either used cars or prize cars that are easily won, since most dont have a ton of time to play this and move further in the game.

First challenge was set up by myself, it was as follows,
Car: 1991 Honda Civic SiR
Track: Trial Mountain
Mods: Only Tires can use Race Softs if you want!

Also let try and keep this to rea,l world driving, in other words no cutting across the grass, wall riding, etc. If you would get penalized or wrecked in real life then the lap doesnt count.

One little hint for those of you who dont have a bunch of time invested in this series, if you get a used car take it to GT Auto and have an oil change done! It is good for some hp!

Reserved for leaderboard:
Challenge one TRIAL MOUNTAIN results:
1.drt_jumper (adam) 1:39.043
2.winnebago 1:39.393

Challenge Two LONDON Results:
1.drt_jumper (adam) 0.56:551 (realized it didnt count was 10min after 8pm)
0.56:915 (actual winning time)
2.winnebargo 0.56:920
3.Kayaus 0.57.903

Challenge Three CAPE RING NORTH Results :

Well since I was the winner of the first challenge I will pick the next one.

We will stick with the same car so people can get some money together.
Car:1992 Civic SiR
Track:London Direction:Normal
Mods: Race Soft tires, Only mods other than tires are as follows:
Engine: Stage 1, Ecu Tuning
Intake parts: Racing air filter
Exhaust: Sports, Catalytic Converter: Sports
Turbo: NONE
Transmission: NONE
Clutch: Twin Plate
Flywheel: Semi Racing
LSD: None
Suspension: Height Adjustable Sports Kit

That is it...nothing else, no weight reduction or stuff like that. I am trying to make this fun, while still making it fair to people who dont have a lot of money yet in the game!

Have fun and enjoy! Remember to take a screen shot of your best results!

Update to new lap time....this one should hold up for a little bit. Need to work on my set up and I might be able to knock a couple tenths off.

I am good with that if you want to set up the lobby. As for the tires, go do your licences, then race some of the races to get some coin you should be able to have the coin in about an hour or so of racing. DO the Special event stuff...decent payout and they are not too hard to do.
