Grand Theft Auto 5 Debut Trailer - November 2, 2011, 11:41 AM

They're back in LA again.

Had to happen.....it will be interesting to see what they have added to make it sell. The last one was not much of an improvement over previous ones for me.

Great sound tracks. The theme that goes throughout it you play some kind of criminal and have to complete tasks that are a part of your criminal enterprises. Sometimes it is a revenge thing and you are killing your way to the top. Other times you are just trying to make climb the criminal ladder.

I hate trailers that don't show the actual game play.

It would be cool if they made games from different times like Medal of Honor does.A GTA set in 1920/1930's Chicago would be pretty sweet.

ALL MY HEROES ARE RUSSIAN...GO CAPS!

Well you see, Norm, it’s like this…A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.-Cliff Claven

Imagine if Von still lived in SE, but didn't have to follow any moral or ethical code and there was no real penalty of imprisonment or death.

See a BMW motorcycle on the street - it's now Vons.
See a Benz - it's now Vons.
Wanna screw a hooker in your Benz - Von can do it.
Wanna then smack that hooker in the head and take your money back - no problem.
Bitch stole your safe - kill her. You'll get a bonus for it.

Basically take the best character types, dialogue, mission and objective parts of just about every Gangsta movie, New Jack City, Scarface, Sugar Hill, Heat, The Mechanic, The Transporter, Killer Elite, etc and roll them up in a game.

Same basic premise everytime but a different main character and setting/city/time period.

The dialogue in the game is as good as any Quentin Taratino film. I honestly play sometimes just to hear the interplay between the characters during the cut sequences. It's that good/funny.

No the game is like the trailer. Each game has a central theme, but there are the reocurring elements I mentioned surrounding that central theme.

Ask someone to give you a copy of one of the older ones or download it for PC. You'll see. Shit can get addicting.
