Thumbs up Guinness World Records getting Gamer's Edition - January 3, 2008, 04:29 PM

The Guinness World Records (formerly known as the Guinness Book of Records) has settled many a pub debate over facts, such as, for example, who ate the most Ferrero Rocher chocolates in one minute, who is the youngest person to wear dentures, and who has flown in the most aircraft as a passenger.
The first edition of the Guinness Book of Records was published in 1955 and has since sold 100 million copies in 24 languages.
Now, a video game edition is coming, which is due for release on February 8. The Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition 2008 will answer such questions as who is the highest paid gamer? What is the fastest time in which someone has completed a level of Halo? And, what is the best-selling video game of all time?
The book will also have interviews with pro gamers and profiles of the biggest selling games. The official Web site is also calling for gamers who believe they have a gaming-related world record to contact them for inclusion in the guide, as well as offering a chance to take part in a global Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock record attempt.

Now theres even more of a excuse to play video games.
