For the guys (for the wife/girlfriend) - Coach has their 48hr ebay store special - June 27, 2012, 11:47 AM

So my fiance is completely in love with wearing a purse, but has never owned a designer purse. So to surprise her, I found out the Coach is having its 48hr store special on ebay. So I was able to pick up one for $100 when the regular cost is 350.

Thought it would be good for brownie points + whenever I need something next time for the bike...lol

Great time for gift it is bday or wedding anniversary or whatever.

OP since your girl has never owned a designer purse...nice gift!

For all the others whose lady already owns a coach (which is affordable for MOST now at the outlet)....step your game up and get her a Marc Jacobs, Louis, Gucci, etc.. Y'all will get a whole lot of extra extra...LOL

If I had to "step up my game" with something materialistic for a girl, she's not worth it at all.

Note that Coach has a "factory line" which is not their retail line and is sold only at their outlets. Looks like the factory line at the ebay store as well

Yes it's real coach, but not the retail line.

Coach still makes more $$ since they do not lose the keystone markup in retail

Am I the only girl who couldn't give a rats ass about owning a Coach bag? Or any other designer bag for that matter?

OTOH, I guess my "purse" does have a brand name on it... it's made by Tourmaster.

Coach Factory Stores sells "last season" full retail items in addition to the factory line.

Hellraiser, the thread is about handbags, a material item. Sooo...

Hey well...I just tried to pass info on.

@SxyRdr

My girl too does not really care honestly but I knew she would like to have one. I still look at it like this...this is the ONLY one you will get from me. When you start buying my jordans and exclusive kicks THEN we can start exchanging designer purses and such.

So she does care if she would like to have one.

Shoes, purses, jewelry, shopping. BLECH!!!! The *only* girlie thing I do is get my hair done. Had a gay guy tell me he was revoking my girl card.

But anyways, anyone whose girl is into this stuff, GL!

My wife sees it as a waste of money. Points out that she can get essentially the same bag from Target for $30. When I originally bought her engagement ring she asked me to have them put in a smaller rock because it looked stupid on her hand. It's not that we can't afford it, she just doesn't see the point.
