Hacking the Blackberry Curve, Themes - August 3, 2008, 09:20 PM

This is what I currently have on my BB Curve as the theme. I think it's the "Sprint" pre-loaded theme and custome wallpaper. I want the home screen to show my calendar events and still keep those icons on the left side. There's a pre-loaded "Today" theme which shows the calendar events. But it does not let me choose which icons and how many to show on the home screen.

Does anyone know how to change the OEM themes, or recommend one that's fully customizable?

Not sure if this will work but on my BB if I go into pictures and then open a pic I can set it as my background.

That works for me too. I'm more interested in getting my daily calendar events to show on the home screen without changing my icons on the left.

Gotcha...my guess is that you'll have to download a theme file. Best bet is to talk to someone who has one and beam the file over. Or download it

IF you edit the BlackBerry.alx file you can unlock all the themes that come on the device.

On my 8800 I have the following themes:

AT&T
BB Dimension Icon
BB Dimension Today
BB Dimension Zen
O2 Today
O2 Zen
Orange
Telefonica Zen
TIM Zen
T-Mobile Zen
T-Mobile Zen (Active)
Vodafone Today

Click on the Menu key the one with the 7 dots.
Hold down the Alt key and click on the menu key (7 dots)
you can organize your icons, show, hide, etc...
