Curious, what does it cost to get tatoos done? I'm not interested in getting one. But do wonder what they cost. The artist must spend time on a design upfront, then the time to apply it. And some designs might take a very long time to apply over months/years.

So seems to me they do have a significant cost. So throw out some approximations on what they cost?

Every tattoo and artist is difference. I have seen people pay next to nothing for great work and other pay a premium for shit. It all depends.

spot on..... but usually the 'good work isnt cheap, cheap work isnt good' statement applies. if your getting a multi-session piece done, shop rate is $100/hr. as for piece pricing, a general guestimate is $150+/- for a cigarette pack sized tattoo.

Just tried, no sale yet. Wanna convince her to get a firecracker with american flag coloring on her shoulder, she had a temp once and even her mom said she should get that tattooed. (for reference she married down)
