Anyone have any recommendations? We use to use Town Center Orthopedics but do to company make changes in health insurance they are now out of network. I live in VA so anything in Reston or Fairfax would be preferred.

Yeah I am old enough to know better. Thing is, I just don't care.

Dr Sam Hawkin from Fairfax Orthopedics performed surgery on my shoulder two years ago and did a great job. Everyone at the hospital talked about him like he was some rockstar surgeon. He also looks like Willem Dafoe.

In the meantime, I hope you're either ambidextrous or your wife still loves you.

Just be aware that surgeons for sports figures might be inclined towards wuick fixes vs long term repairs. Ie. Works well in 3 month. And good for 5-8 years. Aftrr that you would need more expensive and intrusive procedures to keep a fraction of the capability

Nats Enquirer: Douoguih Howser

Douoguih Howser

Sounds like Washington Nationals team orthopedist Dr. Wiemi Douoguih had a busy day today, eh? So busy, it seems a nickname might be in order for the good doctor. How about: Douoguih Howser?

Anyway, Dr. Douoguih carved up two Nats today: Ryan Zimmerman had arthroscopic surgery on his bum right shoulder which was patched together with duct tape and cortisone shots since April, and Chad Tracy had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. Get well soon.
