yea its nice down there, you can barter for jewelry and other goods in Old San Juan, plenty of hotel casinos, nice beaches, sexy women, traffic tends to suck, but other than that its nice.

I have family in Dorado which about a 30 min drive west from where you would fly into San Juan. Downtown San Juan is nice, but if you really want to experience the island you have to get out (careful they drive like maniacs there. You think Maryland drivers are crazy on the beltway? Not even close to driving in Puerto Rico). A few place you gotta see:

- El Yunque rainforest
- Las Cuevas de Camuy (Camuy caverns)
- Viejo San Juan <---this is where my dad was born, but thats not why you should got there
- Drive to the eastern coast and jump on the ferry at Fajardo. Take the ferry to either Vieques or Culebra. This is where you will find those isolated beaches that you only see in the movies. If you can, stay a night in Vieques and take a midnight kayak tour on the biolumincent bay
- Drive to the western coast and check out the beaches around Isabela and Rincon.
- Ponce is a beautiful city (and where my grandmother was born) with tons of history and culture

All of these are day trips so depending on how long you are staying you might not get to do them all, but each one is an awesome experience. Just a few ideas.
