Unhappy HEADS UP FOR FRIDAY and SATURDAY IN PWC !! - April 19, 2007, 07:21 PM

Not sure if any of you have heard but this past week a firefighter with the Prince William County Fire Department lost one of its own while fighting a house fire in Woodbridge. I won't go into anymore details in reference to the incident.

My reason for the "heads up" is to alert you all of the high volume of traffic that will be in and around the Woodbridge on Friday with possible increase in police activities due to the viewing near the PW parkway/ Golansky Rd.

Saturday, there will be a HUGE ceremony at the Nissan Pavilion so expect a high volume of traffic as well. They are estimating around 5,000 people and at least 60 apparatuses present. I understand Coleman's is having an extravaganza on Saturday and people will be riding in from all over. And so I want to get the message out, Please! be careful and be considerate if you're near the pavilion. It will be a very sadden day for the fire and police departments.

I am a Paramedic and this tragic death has affected us all. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
