Help me figure out what these rc car parts are for. - November 16, 2011, 10:14 AM

I am lost on what model these go to and there are no markings. I figure from the looks of the shock towers they are mid 80's to mid 90's?

Its definitely Traxxas do to the a arms.....Probably an old Traxxas Bandit. Not sure about the body mounts or the shock tower but the bulkheads, a arms and all the other pieces are Traxxas Bandit/Rustler parts. They still use a similar design today. Traxxas was also one of the only ones to use those stupid hinge pins.

I still have a Pede and rustler, and that is a no go (the arms are to thin and the carriers are to small. So far the Rc10 photos I have found the towers don't match up.

I'm stumped...

looks like in that case they are pre rustler parts...but they are def. Traxxas and im am almost 100% sure they are for a bandit. Shoot a pic to Traxxas and see what they say.

They have been relaunched!

The bulkhead and arms don't match anything Traxxas the arms are about half the thickness of a pede/ rustler. And the tranny and diff feel too refined to refined to resemble anything traxxas. The cups are set up for dogbones.

If I was to guess this is Tamiya, or Kyosho by constuction.... but I haven't ruled out Associated, and Losi is out of the question because if I remember right they used shitty plastic half shafts like Traxxas.

Ok.......but its not associated for sure, and Losi has never used that type of hinge pin. Still saying that 2 of those arms are traxxas eagle arms...just look them up on google, they look exactly the same and traxxas uses that stupid hingle pin setup.
