Holster help, Taurus PT 24/7 Pro C DS - June 11, 2009, 01:38 PM

So I just traded my Walther P99 .40 Cal and fobus holster for a new Taurus PT 24/7 Pro C DS .40 cal. I haven't fired it yet, looking at hitting the range tomorrow, but so far I love it. Anyone have any experience with this? Only bad thing, I can not find a good holster for the life of me. I've been searching all online and I can only find it for the full size and not the compact that I have. Anyone have any advise?

Hit up the internet and search for BlackHawk SERPA level 2 holster... Can be bought online for waaaay cheaper than stores... roughly around $35.

does anyone know any shops in Nova that has a good stock of holsters? I wouldn't mind seeing how it fits, unlike buying online and then finding out I wont work.

near FFX? Call Blue Ridge Arsenal, they have alot of BlackHawks where you can thumb thru and probably test fit? Prices are outrageous tho... damn $60!!!

Called Blue ridge, nothing for a taurus. Called fobus and was able to find a decent paddle holster. Ordered, not bad price, 27.99. In the mail now.

The Dulles expo gun show would be your best bet to find and test a holster. I picked up my IWB and elastic rib cage holsters there.
Let me know if you see/find any Winchester .40 range ammo.

ammo haha, good luck with that, Walmart had empty shelves, no idea when they would even get any. I got my hollow point hydro shocks but I keep that for when I carry, need some ball for the range.
