Home Depot Game - May 17, 2013, 08:34 AM

You are chosen to compete against 9 other people, a battle to the death. All ten of you are locked in your neighborhood Home Depot. The place is closed and lit by flood lights above exits and other misc. lights that make action movies look sweet. The goal is to kill one another to become last man standing.

You are allowed to choose 3 pieces of equipment to aid you. Anything with a bar-code counts as one piece of equipment. For example, if you choose a nail gun, then a container of nails will be needed, so that would equal two pieces of equipment. You can only use the weapons you choose originally. No area of the home depot is off limits. The outside gardening area is in play, the only sealed doors are the exterior ones.

What three items would you choose and what would be your strategy?

1. Propane Tank
2. Paint Thinner
3. Machete

Turn off main water valve. Turn on propane in Paint department. Create trail from paint section to outside gardening area with paint thinner. Spark with machete. Wait for survivors (if any).

I don't think you would be able to do this on the floor in HD since the concrete is treated and sealed.

The inside floor is just polished. Outside, it's not. You could also use a rack to spark or use the machete to short some of the building's electrical.

Fork Lift, Hatchet, and Snickers.

Find ReasonableDoubt and tip his shelving unit hideout over with the fork lift. Fend off attackers with my trusty hatchet while running them over, and eat the Snickers in morning to celebrate victory.

I'd go with a lightweight blade with some reach, like a machete, a food item in case everyone picks a defensive perch and plays a waiting game, and some quality golves for defense/climbing.

3M Tekk Protection Professional Multi-Purpose Respirator-62023HA1-A at The Home Depot

Pool Time 40 LB Chlorinating Granules PLUS 4-in-1 Sanitizer and Shock-22121PTM at The Home Depot

Enjoy breathing, suckers. Find one of the suckers with a blade, then use it to take out the remaining suckers. Kick back and drop some money at the strip club down the road

Good point on the outside flooring.

A fork lift is not something with a SKU. . Also good luck with knocking the shelving over. I used to work at HD; I've tried.
