How do I put a DVD into iTunes? - December 20, 2007, 08:51 PM

I know it's probably simple...but how do I do it?! I know one of you techies (Yao or someone) will be able to answer this.

Thanks!

I use a program called Handbrake (http://handbrake.m0k.org/). There's presets for encoding the video for stuff like ipods and itunes and it's fairly straightforward to use.

When I put it into my DVD player, and have iTunes open, it does not ask if I want to copy it like it does when I insert a CD. So, is there some other way? What should I ask it to do?

Thats because you have to convert the file into .mp4 or something like that. Are you using Mac OS X or Windows? There's a couple of programs out there for both (some are better than others). I have a program for Windows called Cucusoft DVD to iPod Converter Suite and it works AWESOME. I've got a program for Mac as well (cant recall what its called off the top of my head though). PM me and I'll send you some more details

This is very simple....

First things first. The man must love the woman for this to happen properly. He lays on top of her naked body known as the standard missionary position. With tender kissing and soft caressing the woman is now ready to proceed with the act. The man gently inserts his DVD into the womans IPod and there you have it. A very simple yet mistifying process to some. I am a professional at this sooooo...here,let me show you..........

for some reason the site is blocked at work but this one isn't..but anyway check it out and look to the left for a "HOW TO" link, it has a bunch of tutorials and one of them should be for your dvd to ipod project.

you need to encode the dvd to MPG4. I think Quicktime PRO is the easiest way but is not free.

all you need to know is here:

http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum...nd-ipod-touch/

they have a few different products.

I use vidora
http://www.videora.com/en-us/

Very easy and the movies show up great on my Iphone.
Before videora, you need DVDcrpyt to rip it first..
but instructions are all over that forum.
