HVAC part needed. - April 11, 2013, 02:16 PM

I need a capacitor for a home AC unit. All the places I called today only sell to contractors. Anyone know a place i can get the part from without being a contractor or that can hook me up and sell me the part?

Did you try Aireco? I've bought HVAC parts from them no problem.

Show up with cash. that helps. Have you tried Graingers? I think they have opened it up to regular folks. Dominion Electrical Supply also has a retail showroom so they should sell to homeowners as well as contractors.

grainger will definitely have it. got a blower motor and cap from them when mine crapped out. they still ask what company you're with but they never check anything if you're just paying with your own cc.
