It all boils down to bottom line dollars. They simply are not willing to pay for the added labor of extra workers to do it right. They want maximum efficiency from each worker.

If they let them clean the rooms properly it would most likely cost them more.

You guys think this is bad, you should see inside the food service industry. A good movie on the subject as well a a general commentary about American culture is Fast Food Nation. Almost along the same lines as Thank You for Smoking.

I mean.... I was expecting the black light with crawling semen everywhere. They're really making a big deal out of some glasses. I normally wash out all of my glasses before using them. Still doesn't excuse the behavior, but no need to make a big deal out of it.
