I love movies...except they suck - September 10, 2008, 04:16 PM

I LOOOOVE going to the movies...but why do they suck so hard? Last weekend, Bangkok Dangerous beat out the current #1 Box Office spot (Tropic Thunder) with a whopping $8 million.

Is there anything else to look forward to this year, other than Quantum of Solace in November?

Btw, anyone wanna tell me why Nicholas Cage qualifies as a believable hard core international assassin?

no regrets

I went and saw Babylon AD.... and it was really cool and had a pretty cool plot... and then the plot made no sense at the end. I left pretty confused.

I saw part of an old black and white movie the other day about a dude originally from Germany who had become a US soldier during wwII and who went behind German lines by infiltrating the luftwaffe. His goal was to find out where a certain Panzer division was located and then get back alive. It was really good, and I wish I had gotten the name because I want to watch the whole thing.

The answer is Netflix and old movies.
