Good hit with the hard times....forgot about them. Lets look around the FFX, Herndon, Reston, Centreville, Manassas.

I am located in Centreville.

I know DC has some spots.

Somebody else told me this also. I had them and was not pleased at all.

OP: are you looking for hot (sauced) wings, plain fried wings, or all of the above?

Velocity 5 Velocity wings are pretty on point. The velocity in Centreville tends not to be as good as the one in Sterling. Hard times gives them a run for their money especially if you ask them to grill em. The best wings will definitely have to go to Bon Chon Chicken, there is a new one in Centreville and they tend to be faster than the original in Annadale. Dam now im hungry

There's a Chics N Wings in Herndon. They have some very interesting takes on sauces and presentation. Worth taking a look at for sure. In fact, your post has given me such an unreasonable craving for wings that I'm heading over there immediately. (and there are no specials at BWW tonight...)

Hmmmm didnt even know V5 made good wings. Definitely might have to check that out. Is V5 a wing spot with flavors or a couple of flavors. I am a lemon peppa, asian zing, and teriyaki fan. But always down for some new flavors.

Crazy enough the Chics N Wings here in Herndon does have some good lemon pepper and these Charbroiled BBQ joints.

They have a few different flavors http://www.velocityfiverestaurant.co...locityMenu.pdf

I personally keep it the original, sauce on the side.

I'm actually a pretty big fan of the Buffalo Wing Factory (Chantilly) wings. My co-worker says Brittany's down in Woodbridge has excellent wings too, but I can't vouch for that myself since I've never been.

Also, homemade. Hit up allrecipes.com and find some you like and create your own version: fried, baked, grilled, I've never had a bad homemade wing.
