I thought smoking was Banned. - December 14, 2009, 09:02 AM

Went to HardTimes in Springfield on Saturday to watch the UFC fights. Got a healthy dose of second hand smoke. Got home and had to wash my clothes and take a shower.

Damn. I don't see how smokers do it or how thats attractive to kiss someone and taste what I tasted all night.

I also thought about the hitting a woman thread because some chick blew her smoke right in my direction. *barf

blowing smoke in someone's face means that you want to have intercourse with them

check out the Smoking thread....Hard Times, Lucky's, some other places still have smoking....

looks like owners are fighting/violating the ban through loopholes or just blatent disreguard.

Interesting how many former smokers find smoking more disgusting than non-smokers....

This is what happened in Ohio when they passed the no smoking law. Most smaller places refused to enforce it and just felt no one would legally enforce it. I left a year after they passed it, and it was still hit or miss at most places. Not sure if they've cleaned that all up now.

I thought smoking was allowed in establishments with separate ventilation for the smoking sections.

ok this is messed up. I have now heard conflicting reports about hard times in springfield.

folks on the board say you have to walk into the main area, then turn right into the closed off area for NON smokers..

however a coworker said he went there last weekend and you couldnt smoke in the main area.

to qualify for smoking area, the non smoking area must be on separate ventilation and have a separate entrance so that you dont have to walk through the smoking area to get to it.

As i can remember the area that the non smokers are supposed to go to have neither.

Ok so I am an idiot. I've been mixing up hard times with bungalows Springfield. Bungalows and luckys next door are smoke free. Bungalows is still stinky after years of smoking though.
